Easter in the Country 2012
The Easter in the Country show was held in Roma earlier this month. We were happy to support the celebrations by providing some fun activities for the whole family. The Easter Bunny’s Garden was popular with the kids as they had their photo taken with the Easter Bunny and wandered through the enchanted garden, while the rest of the family enjoyed having a rest on the bean bags in the Chill Out Zone.
Origin is proud to support events and community programs throughout the South West Queensland areas. Click here to find out if your team or organisation qualifies for an Origin Community Sponsorship.

Origin volunteers clean up after the floods
For many of us, February was dominated by the floods in Roma and Mitchell. Over 180 Origin staff came from as far away as Dalby, Chinchilla and Brisbane to assist the Army with cleaning up homes and businesses that were inundated by the water.
Origin is a business made up of people, and many of them are long term residents of the local community. We are very proud of the volunteers. A special mention must go to the Maranoa Council and Emergency Services teams who deserve to be congratulated for coordinating the almost impossible task of cleaning up. Our thoughts and prayers are with all those families affected by the floods.
